Project Brief — Completion checklist

How to use: tick an item only after inspecting the completed record and its evidence. Every unticked item needs an OPEN- entry with an owner, or a written, approved disposition.

Content checks

  • [ ] 01. Request identity and requester — The project ID is unique in the tracker and the sponsor is a named person.
  • [ ] 02. Problem statement and evidence — The problem is stated without a solution and at least one quantitative indicator is cited with its source.
  • [x] 03. Intended users and outcomes — Each outcome has a measurable target or is marked as an assumption to validate.
  • [x] 04. Scope hints and exclusions — At least one explicit exclusion is recorded and no diagnostic claim is implied unless intended.
  • [x] 05. Duplicate and related-request check — Search terms and results are recorded, including 'none found'.
  • [ ] 06. Initial urgency and decision requested — The requested decision is a single clear question with a date.

Record control checks

  • [x] Document ID follows KAI-<PRODUCT>-BRF-NNN and is unique in the product.
  • [x] Product, version and commit SHA match the related records.
  • [x] No placeholder rows remain; every gap names an owner and an OPEN- item.
  • [x] Every cited link, file path and ID resolves.
  • [x] Security, privacy, AI/ML and medical-software applicability checked and routed to qualified reviewers where relevant.
  • [x] No patient identifiers, secrets or production data copied into the record.
  • [x] Nothing was taken from the worked examples as if it were evidence.
  • [ ] Named independent reviewer completed review; approval recorded with date.
